JAT - Jewish Action and Training for sexual health:
- is a national charity working in Jewish communities around the UK since 1988 and works with the whole Jewish community from the orthodox to the unaffiliated
- gives priority to working with young people under 25, adapting our programmes according to the age and knowledge base of the participants
- is the only charity actively working to promote sexual health in the Jewish community and educates to raise awareness of sexual health in the Jewish community
- seeks to challenge the social stigma surrounding those living with HIV & AIDS, supporting and enabling Jewish people and their carers who are affected to live their lives as they wish to
- is run by a dedicated team of professional staff, volunteers, counsellors, youth and community workers
- is a confidential and non-judgemental organisation
- does not promote sexual activity or any sexuality
- runs a wide selection of education projects for all ages
