Volunteering

Without our volunteers JAT could not exist. We are always seeking new committed volunteers who are interested in supporting our charity in its valuable work. We are guided by the Jewish Volunteer Network (JVN) and work within their volunteer policies and practice.

There are many opportunities to help us and the main areas where volunteers are needed include:

  • Education - our programmes are often delivered by trained volunteers, without whom we could not deliver the number of workshops we do
  • Fundraising - an essential area that ensures JAT’s survival and constantly in need of new ideas, sources and energy
  • Administration - to support our Office Administrator in the day-to-day workings of the charity and also to support the Education Team in their preparation and evaluations

Another way of volunteering with JAT is to become a Friend of JAT - click here for more information
