JAT offers social support and practical help to people with HIV and carers, whether in the community or in hospital.
The core philosophy is:
- To improve the quality of life for Jewish people living with HIV
- To support carers and families affected by HIV
- To enable people to continue to live as independently as possible
- To address issues of isolation and access
- To develop and maintain constructive links, which respect and complement existing services
We aim to provide a service, which upholds the Trust’s core values and which adheres to JAT’s guidelines and policies
Due to the support of an anonymous donor JAT was able to send Chanukah gifts to all our clients. These were very well received as can be seen below.
- What a beautifully simple, religiously meaningful, and humanly hopeful gift.
- It’s been a long time since I received a Chanukah gift – and it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you and all those at JAT.
- A big thank you to JAT for the Olive Oil; a useful, thoughtful and appropriate gift at this time in our year.
